Auditions: Sunday Night Take Away

Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Take Away is now on the hunt for general public to participate in its array of challenges, pranks, and prizes.

“This is your chance to surprise a friend, colleague or family member on national television with a prize, an experience or a celebrity encounter,” a casting notice reveals.

“Nominate yourself, your family or someone you know now in one or all of these categories!”

There are 4 categories:

• Dob in a mate:
  – Perhaps they are about to reach a significant Milestone (i.e. Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary, Work / Study / Life Achievement)
  – Perhaps they have a quirky prized possession, an unusual collection or an irritating habit which may be embarrassing!
  – Perhaps they need to make a confession or have funny secret skeletons in their closet that would make great TV!
  – Perhaps they are usually the prankster and you reckon it’s time the joke was on them!
  – Perhaps you want to surprise them with something they would never expect of you.
• Nominate a hero:
  – Perhaps they are about to reach a significant Milestone (i.e. Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary, Work / Study / Life Achievement)
  – Perhaps they have a quirky prized possession, an unusual collection or an irritating habit which may be embarrassing!
  – Perhaps they need to make a confession or have funny secret skeletons in their closet that would make great TV!
  – Perhaps they are usually the prankster and you reckon it’s time the joke was on them!
  – Perhaps you want to surprise them with something they would never expect of you.
• Play a gameshow from your couch:
  – Perhaps you or someone in your family is about to reach a significant life milestone
  – Perhaps someone in your family has done something (big or small) that you think deserves recognition
  – Perhaps you just want the chance to do something unpredictable and fun with your family!
• Share an amazing story:
  – Perhaps it’s a funny piece of family folklore or something you’ve told or heard at a celebration.
  – Perhaps it’s a heart-warming good yarn that has happened to you or someone you know.
  – Perhaps it’s your go-to story that gets a laugh at a BBQ or at the pub!
