Axed: American Vandal

Netflix mockumentary cancelled after 2 seasons, but may yet find a new home.

US mockumentary American Vandal has been cancelled by Netflix after 2 seasons, but may yet find a new home.

American Vandal will not return for a third season,” Netflix said. “We’re very grateful to the creators, writers, cast and crew for bringing their innovative comedy to Netflix, and to the fans and critics who embraced its unique and unconventional humor.”

The series starred Tyler Alvarez, Griffin Gluck, Jimmy Tatro, Melvin Gregg, and Travis Tope and in its first season followed two students as they tried to determine who had spray painted penises onto cars.

However CBS TV Studios have received multiple calls to revive the series for a third season elsewhere, and have been plotting a third season.

  1. Under-rated show. An intresting mystery combined with silly penis jokes – poop jokes in S2 – together create a brillilant cautionary tale of a modern Social Media focused world.

It’s a must watch for anyone who uses Social Media, particularly those who are in High School.
