Axed: The Mentor, Back with the Ex, The Single Wives.

Three reality shows are gone, but what about these others?

Conspicuous by their absence at yesterday’s 2019 AllFronts for Seven were several 2018 reality titles.

Seven has since confirmed The Mentor, Back with the Ex, The Single Wives are not returning.

There is no official decision on Dance Boss, but based on its numbers it is unlikely to proceed.

Q4 shows such as Take Me Out, All Together Now, Emergency Call and Wanted are also yet to be determined. Seven will be looking to Timeshifted performance and catch-up on 7Plus.

Some factuals are also awaiting clarity including The Force and Beach Cops.

Little Big Shots had a casting call for a third season in August but that’s not necessarily a guarantee of a return. The numbers were still good, so it’s still a potential.

The Blake Mysteries telemovie is confirmed for November.

Shows announced for 2018 which did not eventuate but now coming in 2019 are Australian Gangster, Undercurrent and Instant Hotel.

Meanwhile reality series The Rich House announced a year ago with 12 Aussies living in a luxury house has vanished without trace.

  1. I also read Australian Spartan is returning? I’m very confused lol the ratings were quite low and they ended up shifting the show during easter etc…

      1. Very interesting opinions from Rob, Steve and Dan on tv blackbox podcast this morning, one suggesting Spartan was purely made to diminish Ninja (which it looks to have certainly done), others saying this 2nd season in the can will probably be used to do similar again (we know Ninja is now in Melbourne so who knows what boost if any will occur), so you’d think Easter non-ratings, presumably before Ninja S3 launches, would be when Spartan S2 will go? Maybe a promo like “this Easter, for two weeks only, a whole lot of family fun” blah blah?
