SBS Chief Audience and Content Officer John Sintras has resigned after just 6 months in the role.
Sintras had oversight of SBS brands, marketing approach, audience engagement and analytics across TV, radio and online, succeeding Helen Kellie.
Prior to joining SBS in April he was based in New York, as Global President, Business Development and Product Innovation at IPG Mediabrands. He was previously CEO and Chairman at Starcom Mediavest Australia.
In a statement SBS said, “John Sintras recently made the decision to resign and depart SBS to pursue new opportunities. As a highly-respected figure in the media industry, we have valued the energy and insight he has brought to the team, as well as his passion for SBS and its purpose.
“We thank him for the valuable contributions he has made during his time, and wish him all the best.”
