Stan has released first pictures of its upcoming local drama, Bloom starring Jacki Weaver, Bryan Brown, Ryan Corr and Phoebe Tonkin.

The 6 part drama written by Glen Dolman and produced by Playmaker, takes place one year after a devastating flood kills five locals in an idyllic country town. But a mysterious new plant appears with the power to restore their youth.

It also features Daniel Henshall, Sam Reid, Genevieve Morris, Anne Charleston, Terry Norris, Amali Golden, Nikki Shiels, Tessa Rose, John Stanton and Rod Mullinar.

It will screen over summer.
