Matchbox Pictures appoints Chief Operating Officer

Matt Vitins will oversee production, finance and business affairs at Matchbox Pictures.

Matchbox Pictures has promoted Matt Vitins to Chief Operating Officer, overseeing production, finance and business affairs.

Vittins has been with Matchbox since 2015, appointed as Director, Business Affairs since 2015, across development, financing and production for scripted and unscripted. He was responsible for the deals for Glitch, Wanted and Secret City and assisted with the recent establishment of Tony Ayres Productions.

Following the departure of CEO Chris Oliver-Taylor he became Acting Managing Director and will next work closely with new Managing Director Alastair McKinnon, who joins in December.
