Sons of Anarchy spin-off Mayans M.C. has been renewed for a second season.
The drama by Kurt Sutter stars J.D. Pardo who was in Sydney last week for the FOX Showcase channel event.
“Mayans M.C. is performing fantastically, proving to be a breakout first season,” said Nick Grad, co-president of original programming for FX Networks and FX Productions. “The series premiered as the highest rated cable series this year and continues to sustain a committed fan base, reflecting the talent and drive of creators Kurt Sutter and Elgin James. We couldn’t be more excited to take this ride to a second season.”
The series also stars Clayton Cardenas, Edward James Olmos, Sarah Bolger, Michael Irby, Carla Baratta, Antonio Jaramillo and Raoul Max Trujillo.
Season 1 is currently airing Wednesday nights on FOX Showcase.

Appreciate it being slow but enjoying it and working out who is who.
So far it’s been slow, but so was early SoA too… Episode 4 was the best of the bunch by a long way and I found myself finally clicking with a few of the no name bikers. I’m keen to keep watching this world though.
