Returning: Beat Bugs

Inspired kids’ series Beat Bugs is returning to 7TWO with a 1 hr special next week. Yusuf Islam (the artist formerly known as Cat Stevens will guest star).

The joint Seven / Netflix production created by Aussie Josh Wakely.

The series uses the music of The Beatles, after famously acquiring the worldwide rights to the Lennon/McCartney ‘Northern Songs’ music catalogue, with music produced by Silverchair’s Daniel Johns.

Wakley’s Grace: A Storytelling Company and Beyond acquired the Motown catalogue with Smokey Robinson as Executive Music Producer and and Bob Dylan catalogues for Netflix.

Beat Bugs has a Daytime Emmy and AACTA Award.
