Royal wedding helps Seven snatch ratings week

Ratings: Nine was winning the week until along came a Royal Wedding.

Seven’s gamble with the Royal Wedding on Friday night paid off, putting a halt to Nine’s lead across the week driven by The Block.

Seven drew 1.06m viewers and a whopping 41& share. Nine still claimed the demos for the week but it lost the lead it had in Total People.

Bathurst 1000 and Australian Survivor scored for TEN.

Nine won Sunday – Thursday, Seven claimed Friday & Saturday. ABC bettered TEN on Sunday, Monday & Saturday.
