Supercars Gold Coast 600: guide

Broadcast details of Supercars, Formula 1 and MotoGP, on FOX Sports across the weekend.

FOX Sports has a big weekend of motorsport with 60 Live hours of coverage across Supercars, Formula 1 and MotoGP, starting today.

Flying off the start line today for FOX Sports with the Vodafone Gold Coast 600 will be Mark Skaife, Russell Ingall and Jess Yates, when they are Live from Pitlane for Supercars Trackside at 4.30pm AEDT, previewing a big weekend of on-track action.

On Friday, October 19 Live from 11.30am AEDT, Supercars will take to the car-crunching streets of Surfers Paradise for the first time, with coverage on Saturday and Sunday Live with no ad-breaks during racing in the last leg of the Pirtek Enduro Cup.

On two-wheels, MotoGP is Live from Motegi in Japan from Friday to Sunday, when Marc Marquez will attempt to further cement his name in history by sealing an incredible seventh world title, and his fifth in the premier class at just 25 years of age.

In hot pursuit of Marquez will be Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Australia’s Jack Miller, when they go on the hunt for a win before they land on local shores for the Australian GP at Phillip Island next weekend.

In studio on Sunday, Grand Prix winners Chris Vermeulen and Kevin Magee will be hosted by Chris Stubbs on channel 507, Live, in HD and ad-break free from lights out to the chequered flag across the weekend.

A replay of the MotoGP race in Japan will also air straight after the Gold Coast 600 on channel 506 at 7.00pm AEDT on Sunday.

Completing a holy trinity of motorSports this weekend is the 2018 Pirelli United States Grand Prix, Live from the Circuit of the Americas in Texas.

All eyes will be on Lewis Hamilton when he aims to secure his fifth world title, joining the elite company of Michael Schumacher and Juan Manuel Fangio as the only other drivers to do so in formula 1 history.

Hamilton will also be gunning for his fifth consecutive win at the Circuit of Americas in Texas, but he will have to hold onto his cowboy hat tightly with Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel and the bucking Red Bull’s of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo eager to join in the rodeo on race day.

Tune into see if the 2018 F1 World champion will be crowned on Monday morning Live and Exclusive on FOX Sports with no ad-breaks during racing from 5am AEDT.
