They were dancing to a conga line with good reason in Perth last night as Telethon cracked a staggering $38,000,554 in donations.
It topped 2017’s $36m, and takes the tally over the $300m over the course of its 51 year history.
The weekend-long event includes a black-tie Telethon Ball and the auction of the Telethon home (at $730,000) and a cavalcade of Seven stars joining volunteers.
West Australian repeatedly donate more per capita than anywhere in the world.
Well done W.A!
