Ratings: After 7:30pm last night Seven was relegated to fourth place. Dr. Who lifts early slot for ABC.

From 7:30pm last night Seven was relegated to fourth in its slot, barely able to rise above the 500,000 mark.

The Block won its slot at 1.04m viewers and topped the demos but Australian Survivor made a concerted challenge rising to 793,000 for its penultimate episode.

An Australian Story repeat profiling the late Samuel Symons followed at 717,000 then 7:30 and the debut of Emergency Call, which was just 512,000 for Seven.

Have You Been Paying Attention?  won its slot at 731,000 over Doctor Doctor‘s 632,000 and Four Corners‘ 632,000. Media Watch followed while a movie on Seven failed to excite.

Best for SBS was Britain’s Most Historic Towns at 252,000 but it dipped like a yo-yo thereafter with Fighting for Air before rebuilding with 24 Hours in Emergency.

Doctor Who debuted to 431,000 lifting an early evening slot. Whovians was 91,000 on ABC Comedy.

Seven News at least had a 6pm win, as did ABC News and The Chase.

Nine network won Monday with 28.6% then Seven 25.2%, ABC 20.2%, TEN 19.8% and SBS 6.1%.

The Block was #1 for Nine at 1.04m then Nine News (915,000 / 890,000), A Current Affair (769,000), Doctor Doctor (642,000), Hot Seat (465,000 / 280,000). The Trade Table drew 136,000 in 3 cities. Dr. Christian Jessen Will See You Now was 72,000 in 2 cities.

Seven News (958,000 / 957,000) led for Seven then Home and Away (618,000), Emergency Call (512,000), The Chase (599,000 / 339,000), Border Security (424,000) and movie: The Accountant (408,000).

Australian Survivor (793,000) was best for TEN then Have You Been Paying Attention? (731,000), The Project (549,000 / 286,000), TEN Eyewitness News (346,000), Pointless (209,000) and Arj Barker: Get in my Head (170,000).

ABC News (787,000), Australian Story (717,000), 7:30 (657,000), Four Corners (632,000), Media Watch (552,000), Doctor Who (431,000) and Q&A (397,000).

On SBS it was Britain’s Most Historic Towns (252,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (156,000), SBS World News (131,000), Fighting for Air (81,000) and The Chef’s Line (71,000).

News Breakfast: 108,000 / 36,000

Big Bang Theory was biggest on multichannels for 9GO! at 181,000.
