Who will win The Block?

Five apartments at the former Gatwick Hotel in St. Kilda will go under the hammer tomorrow and screen on Sunday night’s finale of The Block.

A sixth apartment will be awarded to a contest winner in a Block promo in weeks to come. Two smaller apartments are tipped for the ground front floor of the property.

Since premiering in 2003, The Block has distributed an astronomical cash total of $18,895,501 in prize money to contestants.

In the running for 2018 glory are Perth’s Courtney and Hans, Sydney’s Hayden and Sara, South Australian’s Kerrie and Spence, Queenslanders Norm and Jess and Victorians Bianca and Carla.

Each couple will keep any profit their apartment sells for over its reserve price at auction. The couple whose property sells for the most above reserve will be declared the winners and pocket an extra $100,000.
