ABC News programme Matter of Fact has ended its run, last night screening its final episode exactly 10 months after its launch.

Host Stan Grant yesterday tweeted “It’s been an honour and a pleasure to bring you stories from around the globe, making sense of our rapidly changing world, with a range of fantastic guests with big ideas.”

Matter of Fact launched in January after Grant hosted Friday night current affairs program, The Link.

Grant joins Griffith University in December as professor of global ­affairs, but will serve as an indigenous and international ­affairs analyst at ABC.

  1. I like Stan Grant and always have…just did not care for this particular effort…I enjoyed The Link…I was sorry it ended….I hope to see him on screen again.

    1. I felt “The Link” was purely a show full of vox pops with a random story, never cared for it… Stan is a great presenter with the right topic, but don’t enjoy his nightly efforts..
