Brady Bunch kids reunite for A Very Brady Renovation

And the axis in the world of pop culture is placed back into balance....

Here’s the story….

The 6 original Brady Bunch kids have reunited at the house location used for exteriors, to launch a new series, A Very Brady Renovation.

Maureen McCormick, Barry Williams, Eve Plumb, Christopher Knight, Susan Olsen and Mike Lookinland reunited for the first time in nearly 15 years (ok Jan may have had her arm twisted to agree to it!).

The house was purchased by cable network HGTV, in a bidding war with many including singer Lance Bass, to now become a renovation series with celebrity renovators …shame it isn’t the 6 themselves, although they will be appearing.

The interior of the house will be renovated for nostalgia to the 1970s styles.

HGTV plans to add 600 sq. metres to the home’s original footprint and says it will “stay true to the spirit of the Brady Bunch family home that everyone loves and remembers.”

“From the unforgettable signature wood-panelled living room with floating staircase to the orange and green kitchen and the kids’ Jack-and-Jill bathroom, The Brady Bunch house will forever hold a special place in television history and American pop culture,” HGTV said in a release.

The series premieres next September in the US but no Australian broadcaster has been announced.
