Endemol Shine appoints Chief Content Officer

Peter Newman to oversee some of Australia's biggest TV titled for Endemol Shine Australia.

Endemol Shine Australia has promoted Peter Newman, currently Managing Director, Unscripted Content to the newly-created role of Chief Content Officer.

Newman, who joined ESA in 2012, will oversee all of ESA’s productions, many of which include the biggest Reality and Entertainment titles in Australia including MasterChef Australia, Australian Survivor, Married at First Sight, Gogglebox, Australian Ninja Warrior, Ambulance Australia and upcoming productions Lego Masters, Changing Rooms and Old Peoples Home For Four Year Olds.

In addition to overseeing production and development teams, he will also contribute to the strategic direction of the company.

He will report directly to CEOs Mark and Carl Fennessy.
