Before it was a US series Wilfred enjoyed 2 seasons in Australia on SBS.

The show starring its co-creators Adam Zwar & Jason Gann aired in 2007 & 2010 and caused News Corp papers to get worked up about public funding for a bong-smoking dog. It would go on to have 4 US seasons of its own.

Alongside its complete irreverence and bent concepts the show included plenty of star cameos, an ambitious Bite Club sequence, swearing at children, nudity and even an episode filmed in the snow. What Aussie drama ever does that?
