Renewed: Divorce

Sarah Jessica Parker series Divorce has been renewed by HBO for a third season.

Parker stars as Frances, who’s locked in a contentious divorce battle with her husband Robert, played by Thomas Haden Church. Molly Shannon co-stars as Frances’ loopy pal Diane, with Tracy Letts playing her husband Nick. Becki Newton who joined the cast in Season 2 as a new love interest for Robert, will be a series regular in Season 3.

Season 3 will consist of six episodes, down from 8, with Liz Tuccillo (Sex and the City) to take over as showrunner and executive producer.

Production begins early next year.

Divorce airs in Australia on FOX Showcase.
