Former ABC managing director Michelle Guthrie has received a termination payment after being dismissed by the public broadcaster.
Media reports yesterday, including ABC News, suggested the figure was $800,000.
An ABC spokesperson said a termination payment was made in line with her contractual entitlements.
The spokesperson would not comment on the amount, however multiple sources close to the negotiations confirmed the sum.
Guthrie is also pursuing legal action against the public broadcaster.
Guthrie and former chairman Justin Milne have both been invited to appear before a Senate ABC inquiry on Friday which will examine claims of political interference.
