Peter Mitchell will helm Seven’s coverage of the Victorian state election this Saturday night.

Coverage begins at 5pm.

Committed to delivering the most comprehensive coverage and up-to-the-minute results as election night unfolds, Seven News anchor Peter Mitchell will lead a heavy-hitting panel of experts including state political reporter Brendan Donohoe, national political editor Mark Riley, and former Premiers Steve Bracks and Jeff Kennett go head to head.

Peter Mitchell will present Seven News at 6pm, covering the events of the day from home and abroad including strategic election updates throughout the bulletin.

From 6.30pm Victoria Votes 2018 will deliver one hour of commercial free coverage as our panel is joined by Labor’s Jane Garrett and Liberal’s Georgina Crozier.

Mike Amor will be reporting live from inside Daniel Andrews’ camp at Mulgrave, while Nick McCallum will be with Opposition Leader Matthew Guy in Bulleen.

Seven News will cross live throughout the night to reporters in all key battlegrounds across the state.
