SKY News coverage of the Victorian state election is helmed by David Speers.

SKY News coverage of the 2018 Victorian state election begins at 6pm tomorrow helmed by David Speers.

SKY News will be Live throughout the day as the candidates lodge their votes and make their final pitches to Victorians, with Live coverage from SKY News Melbourne reporters Ahron Young and Patrick Murrell.

Then from 6:00pm AEDT, Political Editor David Speers and the award-winning SKY News team will bring viewers Live rolling coverage as the results come in. David will be joined by an expert panel of leading commentators including SKY News anchors Peta Credlin and Stephen Conroy, together with Shadow Minister for Defence, Richard Marles, Federal Member for Deakin, Michael Sukkar and the Herald Sun’s National Political Editor James Campbell. Chief Political Reporter Kieran Gilbert will add further reporting and analysis throughout the night.

Political insiders Nicholas Reece and Michael Kroger will spend the night at Labor and Liberal headquarters while SKY News anchors Andrew Bolt, Alan Jones and Graham Richardson will add unrivalled commentary and insight as the winners and losers emerge.

From 8:00am AEDT the following morning, David Speers hosts Speers on Sunday. He’ll have all the Victorian election wash-up, with reaction and analysis from key political players.

Then Sunday at 7:00pm AEDT, The Australian’s associate editor Chris Kenny hosts Kenny on Sunday to discuss the impact the elected leader will have on Victoria.

At 9:00pm AEDT Paul Murray anchors his popular program Paul Murray Live, to dissect the election result and what it means for Victorians.

  1. Why would anyone watch the Victorian election on Sky News? Sky Commentators seem to think that the Libs will romp it in. Why would Sky even show coverage? The Libs win in a rout it’s a forgone conclusion. Just ask the Sky Commentators (Opinion’s you cant ignore…Lol)
