You Can’t Ask That live at Screen Forever conference

Tim Ferguson to moderate a Live rendition of ABC series at producer conference, tackling questions on inclusivity and tokenism.

The Screen Forever conference later this month will feature a first-ever Live rendition of You Can’t Ask That.

The Screen Diversity Inclusion Network will present the session, as a diverse group of panellists address inclusivity in and around screen production and tokenism.

Comedian Tim Ferguson will act as Moderator, and the session will be introduced by SDIN Chair, Courtney Gibson.

Appearing will be Indigenous and Polynesian TV writer and text-based artist, Enoch Mailangi, Finke: There and Back producer, Isaac Elliott, feminist writer, actor, producer, Candy Bowers, Walkley-nominated documentarian, Patrick Abboud and award-winning writer, speaker and appearance diversity issues activist, Carly Findlay.

Co-creators  Kirk Docker and Aaron Smith, will also take part in a “how we make the show” case study, moderated by Jon Casimir, who is also one of the co-creators of the show and currently Executive Producer of Interview with Andrew Denton.

Delegates are now being asked to submit questions for the panel.
