Bad news for new SBS local drama On the Ropes now pulled from its timeslot after two episodes.
This week it attracted just 68,000 viewers, down on the 72,000 from the week before. Only 13,000 more watched it on Timeshifted viewing within 7 days.
SBS has moved the show to 9:30pm Thursdays for the remaining 2 weeks, replacing it with 24 Hours In Emergency.
Vikings, which was due to screen at 9:30 Thursdays, will remain at 8:30pm where it debuted last night.

I’m surprised it hasn’t been bumped much later-10.30 or 11.30pm.
Designed to maximise on Vikings audience.
Nothing like the same appeal or type of audience though-SBS pushed it very heavily and it’s sunk without trace.
150-odd thousand across platforms in two weeks is dire. I’m all for Australian stories for Australian audiences, especially those told from a different cultural perspective, but as others have pointed out: maybe this one is *too* niche
