US comedy The Good Place has been renewed for a fourth season by NBC.
The comedy about the afterlife stars Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Ted Danson, Jameela Jamil, D’Arcy Carden, and Manny Jacinto, in a premise where deceased characters return to Earth to prove that they can be good people.
“Congratulations to Mike Schur and an exceptional cast and crew, all of whom collaborate to create a thoughtful, mind-bending and hysterical series unlike anything else on television,” said Tracey Pakosta and Lisa Katz, co-presidents of scripted programming for NBC Entertainment. “We can’t wait to see what unexpected stories the new season will bring.”
It screens in Australia via Netflix.

I really enjoy this show it’s so refreshingly original, but I do wonder how they’ll keep it going at times. Great casting and writing.
Totally agree with the above. Their episodes are kind of like playing golf. It can be really frustratingly slow, but then there’s that one great shot/quip/moment that brings you back to say, “yeah, I’ll come back and give it another crack.”
Fork yes!
Such a good show. Just wonder how much juice is left in it.
Love this show !
But the 3rd season was the weakest by far
They need to get back on the ball.
Belated addenum.
Just watched Episode 9 – Brilliant ! – They were back on the ball with this episode !
