Wayne & Tom, Angie & Yvie quit Gogglebox.
Gogglebox will be getting a refresh in 2019 after all.

Two original Gogglebox duos are confirmed to depart the show.
Wayne & Tom and Angie & Yvie will not return in 2019.
It follows Tom Walsh announcing on JOY94.9 in October, “I’ve had a lot of fun. And I think it’s just time. Me and Wayne are ready to retire. We’re ready to buy a farm and go bush.”
It wasn’t the first time the pair had indicated their desire to leave.
Executive Producer David McDonald recently told TV Tonight, “When the cast get to the end of a series, the last thing they want to talk about is the next one. Which I totally understand.
“We may re-cast, yes. A refresh is good, it brings a different perspective. When people move on I do miss their voice in the mix sometimes, but life takes people in other directions. It is a big commitment and we really appreciate what they give to make the show.”

Oh that’s a real shame about the girls leaving. They were my favourites.
I will miss them and their collection of doggies.
Wayne and Tom were good value too.
we all know Tom and Wayne’s reason for leaving but I’m not sure why Angie & Yvie although looking back it looked like Yvie wasn’t really feeling it this past season.. maybe they could be offered more money since the show is such a rating success on both networks.
Actually, Angie and Yvie no longer live together and Angie is no longer in Sydney at all. She was commuting to Sydney for filming.
Oh, that’s a shame. I liked them. But Anastacia is never allowed to leave.

Going to miss the gold from Angie & Yvie, losing two couples is a big hit. I hope they don’t rush the casting for new people.

I was gonna say, we lose 4 humans but between the 2 households, about 20 dogs
It’s a little bit sad, but I can understand them wanting to move on, I wish them all the best for the future.
I am far more devastated than I probably should be. Whoever replaces both these couples has big shoes to fill!
