Let’s not forget the lovely Sister Wendy Beckett who died on 26 December at 88. So wonderful.
Some of the names you forget about until you see them listed like this. They are all tragic but I think the most tragic is Jessica Falkholt considering the way she died and the promise she showed.

Dropping like flies! Have there been a lot more deaths in 2018 than other years, or does it just seem that way?
Just did a quick scan. 85 names listed for 2018, there were 93 names listed for 2017. So definitely not more this year.
I do remember 2016 as losing an exceptional many. Remember the year Carrie Fisher died before Christmas then her mother Debbie Reynolds soon after.
I read the list every year with sadness. We lost some wonderful talent.
