  1. How many of the shows nominated are on free to air TV though. Maybe the day MKR and MAFS win an Emmy or golden globe they’ll be interested from FTA in broadcasting them.

    1. Very good point. The only show on the list I had exposure to was Murphy Brown, and I’m somewhat perplexed that anyone would consider Candace Bergen for a best actress nod.

  2. We need to get the Golden Globes back on network TV. It’s ridiculous award shows like Golden Globes & Emmy’s being on bloody foxtel when not everyone has access to it & can’t watch them. I remember back in the day the Golden Globes being on 10. Foxtel seems to be losing relevance, a lot of people are cancelling their subscriptions. Hopefully all the good dramas will start going elsewhere.
