Airdate: Sally4Ever

New HBO-Atlantic comedy Sally4Ever from UK writer / director / actress Julia Davis begins next week on FOX Showcase.

The cast features Catherine Shepherd, Julia Davis and Alex Macqueen and appearances from Mark Gatiss and
Sean Bean.

This premiered internationally in October.

With seven episodes, Sally4Ever follows the travails of Sally (Catherine Shepherd), who has endured a deathly dull life for ten years with her fawning, predictable boyfriend David (Alex Macqueen) while working at a small marketing firm surrounded by gossips and would-be suitors.

On the night that David tearfully begs her to marry him, Sally, in crisis mode after reluctantly accepting, heads to a bohemian nightclub and embarks on a wild affair with Emma (Davis), a seductive, charismatic actress / singer / musician / poet / author who just so happens to be an inveterate liar.

Before Sally knows it, Emma has moved in, rearranged the furniture, and turned her life upside down, forcing Sally to decide: Is this what she really wants, or has she made a huge mistake? Unique, dark, esoteric and laugh-out-loud funny, the series explores the facets of love and sex in our confused, obsessive and gender-fluid world through the tale of a love affair that spirals quickly – and hilariously – out of control.
