Airdate: The Challenge: War of the Worlds

Not to be confused with a UK drama that is coming in summer, MTV has announced a version of its reality contest The Challenge, which sees Reality TV stars facing off against previous champs.

 The Challenge: War of the Worlds will screen in March, with a sneak peek ahead of the premiere on Sunday March 3 at 8.30pm.

TV favorites collide when legendary “The Challenge” veterans team up with rookie prospects from franchises including “The Bachelor,” “Big Brother,” “Love Island,” “Survivor” “American Ninja Warrior” and Australia’s first contender, “Geordie Shore” star Dee Nguyen as well as international stars across MTV’s global family including “Ex on the Beach” and “Floribama Shore.”

Thirty-four competitors from around the globe will battle their way through the most grueling, physical and mental challenges for their share of the $1 million prize. New rules will unfold, alliances will be rehashed and surprising twists will arise in the grittiest, most hardcore season ever.
