New Year’s Eve tops first week of the year

Ratings: Seven scores the week. 10 Bold has a win in the multichannels.

There was a shift in the multichannels last week, due largely to Nine screening niche sport events at the same time as 10 Bold performing well -it topped the multichannels with a 3.8% share built largely around NCIS repeats.

ABC’s New Year’s Eve broadcast topped the week at 1.26m metro viewers and a win on Monday.

Seven claimed first week of the Calendar Year with its Cricket coverage while SBS was up. With just a week to go before its first big title of the year 10’s primary channel is alarmingly low, but at least avoided a third week with every night beaten by ABC.
