  1. Had no idea DOOL would need a renewal announcement like that. Just assumed it’s like Home & Away and Neighbours where it goes without saying that it’ll just continue on next year, like every year. Like sands through the hourglass.

    1. A few years back, things were looking grim and there were signs Days may have been cancelled on Americas NBC network. Since then its been a year by year renewal, and for long time fans, it comes with a sigh of relief that we have the best US daytime soap for at least another year.

  2. Fantastic news. Days is my “guilty pleasure”, I think I’d be quite lost without it. It’s been doing very well since the last writing team change, I’m so glad it’s continuing.

  3. I always know how old it is because it started in the year I was born. It’s older than God. Haven’t seen it for ages so I don’t even know if Stefano has been resurrected again.

  4. My mother is 93 (20/1/26) . she surely has seen most episodes (maybe all) . Brooke and kin are her first family, we only come second. I don’t know how she would carry on, if she lost all her family who she actually sends Christmas cards to and talks about all the time. There are probably a few like her.

    1. My Mum’s 75 and Days is our shared interest. She does seem to prefer whats going on in Salem, to what’s going on in her own family too. Brookes from B&B, that’s a different soap.

        1. Jason I guess it doesn’t matter. I didn’t say it did. I watched it when it was years behind on nine for a long time. It does spoil things when you read things that you won’t see happen for a long time. I must admit I am enjoying the current episodes and being able to read stories on it with out being spoiled.
