Golden Globe-winning comedy The Kominsky Method has been renewed for a second season by Netflix.
The series follows actor and acting coach Sandy Kominsky (Michael Douglas) and his agent Norman Newlander (Alan Arkin), two friends trying to navigate their later years in Los Angeles, a city that values youth and beauty.
Douglas won a best actor trophy last week while the series was named Best Comedy.
Season 2 will consist of eight half-hour episodes and is scheduled to begin production later this month in Los Angeles.

Great news. I binged watched the first series and had laugh out loud moments. I hope Dr. Wexler a.k.a Danny DeVito makes a return. His appearance was scene stealing.
