Returning: Silent Witness

The 22nd season of Silent Witness begins this week on BBC First.

The 10 part series will screen as double episodes across 5 weeks. This will air a week after its UK debut.

The award-winning crime drama returns with five thrilling two-part stories, starring Emilia Fox in the lead role alongside David Caves, Liz Carr and Richard Lintern. This series also features a diverse supporting cast including Art Malik, Samantha Bond, Dervla Kirwan and Amanda Root. In series 22 pathologist Dr Nikki Alexander and her dedicated team help the police solve a slew of mystifying murders. Storylines range from street drugs and knife crime to issues facing the LGBT community.
