Airdate: Special

A new 8 part comedy series, Special, is coming to Netflix in April.

The series stars its writer and executive producer Ryan O’Connell and is a semi-autobiographical series about a gay man with mild cerebral palsy who decides to rewrite his identity and finally go after the life he wants.

It is based on his part-memoir, part-manifesto “I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves.”

The series also stars: Jessica Hecht, Punam Patel, Marla Mindelle, Augustus Prew, and Patrick Fabian. Jim Parsons is also an executive producer.

Friday April 12 on Netflix.
