Kerri-Anne: “John, you were the love of my life.”
Sad news as Kerri-Anne Kennerley announces the death of her loving husband, John.

Kerri-Anne Kennerley has paid tribute to her husband John Kennerley, who has died aged 78.
On Instagram she announced, “As you all know, John has faced some tremendous challenges over the past few years and with each he has been extraordinarily brave and determined to overcome those hurdles and live a normal life.
“I want to thank everyone at St Vincent’s Hospital for the beautiful care they have provided to John in his last days.
“John passed away peacefully with his son Simon and me by his side.
“John, you were the love of my life. Xxx”
In 2016 John Kennerley suffered a devastating fall at a golf tournament but after a long recovery continued to enjoy life with Kerri-Anne, who has been his tireless carer.
The couple married in 1984 after meeting in the US.

Network 10, Chief Executive Officer, Paul Anderson: “We would like to offer our deepest sympathies to Kerri-Anne Kennerley and John’s son Simon on the passing of their beloved husband and father John Kennerley.
“John faced some enormous challenges over the last few years and during this time, Kerri-Anne, in her usual grace and stamina, has shown enormous strength, compassion, love and commitment.
“Our thoughts are with Kerri-Anne, Simon and their family during this difficult time.”
Incoming ABC Chair and PM Scott Morrison also extended their sympathies this morning.

Very sad to hear that. Worked with Kerri-Anne last week and did think she wasn’t her usual bubbly self. She’s such a lovely, giving person and it makes me so sad for her loss of the love of her life. I hope in time Kerri-Anne recovers the strength and love she is known for. RIP John

Shocked as she was on the show only yesterday, although she did disappear early. I imagine this will hit her even harder as she has no children of her own. Thoughts and prayers with her at this difficult time. I hope the trolls back off her….
I think anyone with a heart will be feeling sad for Kerri-Anne, regardless of recent controversy. She is a strong woman though and will rise above anything.

So sad, I’ve adored Kerri-Anne for years now and have been inspired by her and John’s relationship, One of true Love.
