Nine News: Flood appeal

Nine News Queensland has announced the Nine News Today Show Flood Appeal with a $50,000 donation to the St Vincent de Paul Society.

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland CEO, Peter Maher, said: “We are an organisation with volunteers on the ground right now helping the people of North Queensland as we have for the last 125 years.

“Every dollar raised through the flood appeal will go directly to people affected by this terrible event, and we thank Nine and all who have donated so far for their generosity.”

Nine Queensland Managing Director, Kylie Blucher, said: “The floods have put a huge strain on our fellow Queenslanders. Nine is one hundred per cent behind the North Queensland community and we encourage all to dig deep and help out as they struggle to recover from this disaster.”
