Prisoner stars to guest on Neighbours

Ex-jailbirds return to the scene of the crime, now overtaken by friendly neighbours.

With the 40th anniversary of Prisoner‘s TV debut just around the corner, former stars will make guest appearances on Neighbours.

Jane Clifton, who played Margo Gaffney and Betty Bobbitt, who played Judy Bryant will reunite with Colette Mann and Jackie Woodburne.

Colette Mann is famous for her role as Doreen Burns whilst Jackie Woodburne played Julie ‘Chook’ Egbert.

Both shows film at the same site in Nunawading.

A $300 ticketed reunion of Prisoner cast organised by Val Lehman takes place this month to mark the 40th anniversary while other cast will head out on a bus tour to former locations.

  1. Did anyone see the episode? The lines and the scene were just gag inducing. “sickening’ as me and my siblings would have said back in the day. Way too over the top and under rehearsed. Even though J Bar has mentioned her name, I still have no memory of who the fourth returning actress was.

  2. So from left to right, the actresses and their Prisoner characters are: Jackie Woodburne (Julie “Chook” Egbert), Jane Clifton (Margo Gaffney), Betty Bobbitt (Judy Bryant), Colette Mann (Doreen Burns), Jentah Sobott (Heather “Mouse” Trapp), Jenny Lovell (Jenny Hartley).
