(US) National Hockey League on Kayo

US Ice Hockey matches come to Kayo starting with Boston Bruins vs. Anaheim Ducks.

Ice Hockey matches from the US National Hockey League (NHL) are available to stream on Kayo from tomorrow.

Through its partnership with ESPN, Kayo will show a minimum of three live games each week. Heading into the playoffs, there will be extensive coverage of rounds one and two, the Conference Finals and the Stanley Cup. All games are provided by Kayo’s broadcast partner ESPN, and will be available to stream Live and anytime, instantly, along with over 50 other sports on Kayo.

ESPN on Kayo will be streaming games for the remainder of the 2018/2019 NHL season plus the 2019/2020 season and the 2020/2021 season.

Tue, 19 Feb at 2.00pm: San Jose Sharks vs. Boston Bruins
Wed, 20 Feb at 11.00am: Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Philadelphia Flyers
Thu, 21 Feb at 2.00pm: Golden Knights vs. Boston Bruins
Sat, 23 Feb at 2.00pm: Winnipeg Jets vs. Vegas Golden Knights
Tue, 26 Feb at 12.00pm: Edmonton Oilers vs. Nashville Predators
Wed, 27 Feb at 2.00pm: Dallas Stars vs. Vegas Golden Knights
Thu, 28 Feb at 11.30am: New York Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning

  1. Pretty sure the ESPN content is normally shown on ESPN’s own channels (which aren’t exclusive to the Foxtel platform) and not Fox Sports. Looking at the Foxtel TV Guide, NHL is being broadcast live on ESPN2

    Hard to imagine how Foxtel could have a general strategy to get US sports onto ESPN when they neither own nor control that company.

    1. Not at this stage.

      ESPN now has the rights for NHL in Australia. ESPN are promoting that they now have the Big 4 – NBA, NFL, NHL and MLB on air. Historically all of these sports have been on Fox Sports at some stage. They also have the various US college sports too.

      It seems like Foxtel’s general strategy is to get the US sports onto ESPN and they will look after the rest with a few exceptions.
