Four Corners strong, Nine wins Monday.
Ratings: Exposé on Cardinal Pell draws a bumper crowd, with ABC leading the night once MAFS wrapped.

A Four Corners exposé on Cardinal George Pell pulled an impressive 749,000 viewers last night, an increase of 235,000 on last Monday and easily their strongest episode so far this year.
ABC led viewing for the rest of the night once MAFS wrapped on Nine.
Married at First Sight was #1 and topped the demos at 1.29m ahead of My Kitchen Rules on 708,000, very nearly an all-time low.
Australian Story (634,000) and 7:30 (627,000) snared third pole position while an emotional Dancing with the Stars averaged 492,000 on par with last week. The elimination of Denise Scott later was 496,000.
Nine Network won Monday with 31.0% then Seven 26.8%, ABC 20.9%, 10 15.5% and SBS 5.8%.
Meanwhile Nine News won its slot at 987,000 / 945,000 for Nine then A Current Affair (847,000), Bad Mothers (542,000) and Hot Seat (463,000 / 291,000). Botched drew 203,000.
Seven News was 969,000 / 968,000. Home & Away was 611,000. The Chase was 514,000/ 320,000 and Instant Hotel was 288,000, screening later in Melbourne.
ABC News was best for ABC at 763,000. Media Watch was high at 749,000, Q&A was 548,000. The Drum drew 201,000.
The Project was 464,000 / 263,000 then 10 News First (384,000), Pointless (188,000) and The Graham Norton Show (169,000).
On SBS it was Michael Mosley: Trust Me I’m a Doctor (196,000), The Kennedys (155,000), 24 Hours in Emergency (141,000) and SBS World News.
Peppa Pig (183,000) topped multichannels.
Sunrise: 299,000
Today: 191,000
News Breakfast: 103,000 / 38,000

Agree im really enjoying dwts. Loved last nights episode & im really enjoying the judges. I could listen to Tristan talk on the show anytime. Also enjoying grant and Amanda as hosts
In relation to MKR l feel the 2 sets of teams are where the issue lyes. Go back to a couple per state and include all states & territories.
DWTS was fantastic. Olympia, Samuel and Courtney were great! Such a good production and Amanda and Grant are excellent hosts. Deserves higher ratings.
Like other am enjoying DWTS. I have come full circle on Grant Denyer. His hosting of the show is probably his finest work to date. Amanda is brilliant as well.

Agree, Grant is doing a great job, and he was good on Family Feud as well. I’ve always loved Amanda.
With MKR dropping and ABC having a strong night there was only 0.6% between ABC and 7 primary channels.
Looks like the Four Corners episode benefited Media Watch as well, 749,000 is a lot higher than the usual 500 to 550,000 it gets.
ABC was running late last night due a longer than normal Australian Story. Expect a slight readjustment in numbers.
Loved Dancing with the stars last night, very emotional with Courtney and Samuels dances

DWTS was excellent last night, a really slick production with some great performances.
It’s good to see them all improving. A shame about the ratings.
Agree. Even though it is a dated franchise, I think it still deserves better ratings than that.
Having a completely new judging panel makes a huge difference
