Essential Media Group is developing a new drama project, The Line, created and written by Yolanda Ramke (Cargo).
The historical series is described as an eight-hour returnable, female-driven thriller set in the Second World War. But it is said to strike a contemporary tone and covers issues about the sexes that still resonate today.
Anthony Kimble, who left the UK-based distribution arm of Cineflix recently, will also executive produce, will be attending MipTV in France next month to launch his new company, Fugitive Content.
A spokesperson for Essential declined to reveal further details.

How about coming up with a more imaginative title? All these generic titles get lost in the crowd and make no impact.
