Orange Is the New Black has officially wrapped production on its sixth and final season.
“This is a family,” creator Jenji Kohan wrote on social media.
The final season is expected later this year on both Netflix and Foxtel.
Meanwhile Aussie prison series Wentworth is powering ahead with three more seasons, one of which is already completed. Just sayin’.

OITB a great show and agree with Mac. It’s better go out on a high instead of dragging it on like a few shows I can name. 7 Seasons is respectable and already a few stars are doing their own projects. Natasha Lyonne (Nicky) is The Russian Doll, Dale Soules (Frieda) appeared in New Amsterdam (episode not shown yet in Australia)…
A terrific show but I think it’s time to bow out gracefully. Looking forward to the final season ending on a high.
