6 Comments:

  1. Good to see ABC came out on top covering the NSW election. I thought channel Nine made an ‘interesting’ choice with Alan Jones and also Chanel Seven with Barnaby Joyce. Who came out better between those two panels? Cheers

  2. Looks like 9 have won another week, making it a clean sweep for the year. What’s amazing is that the AFL wasn’t enough for 7 to steal the week. Must be very happy in the corridors of Nine with 2GB, 3AW and Channel 9 all at the top.

    • Why should it have? You’re talking about Married, a show equally popular in all cities doing well north of 1m+ every episode, AFL being predominantly a weekend sport popular really in 3 cities.

Had Seven ‘stolen’ the week, that surely would’ve been total embarrassment for Nine, they did however to their credit claw back lots of share.

  3. Some interesting results here. Seven win the night, network and main channel shares, as they did during the Vic election, but this time with AFL, although main channel under 20%. ABC shares including News channel down on the Vic election. In Brisbane, AFL (specially on main channel) beats the programs on Channel 9 (movie) and 10 (encore and movie)! In Melbourne, Death In Paradise rates slightly higher than the AFL (was one sided for a lot, only one Melb team and not the biggest one).
