Airdate: In the Dark

10 All Access has announced new US drama In the Dark from producer Ben Stiller will screen from today.

Starring Brooke Markham & Rich Sommer, this is airing on The CW today and fast-tracked to Australia.

From Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films, In The Dark centres on Murphy (Perry Mattfeld), a hard-living, hard-drinking, disaffected twenty-something, who also happens to be blind and the only witness to the murder of her drug-dealing friend, Tyson.

With the police sceptical about her story, Murphy sets out with the help of her best friend Jess (Brooke Markham) and her dog, Pretzel, to find Tyson’s killer, no matter the risk…even if it means she has to sober up a little.

Not your run-of-the-mill girl, Murphy couples her detective work with an interesting dating life and a job at her parents’ guide dog school, where she sleeps off her hangovers.

Jess takes it upon herself to keep the adventurous Murphy in line and is often rebuked for her efforts.

Darnell (Keston John), a local drug-dealer and cousin of Tyson, is wary and unbelieving of Murphy at first, but eventually supports her sleuthing work in pursuit of solving the mystery of Tyson’s disappearance and perceived murder.

Rich Sommer, Casey Deidrick, Morgan Krantz, Thamela Mpumlwana with Derek Webster and Kathleen York also star in the series. In The Dark is a sexy and surprising detective story with a twist.

In The Dark is from CBS Television Studios and Warner Bros.
