Australian Survivor star arrested

Former Australian Survivor star Brian Lake was arrested following an incident at the home of his estranged wife.

FOX Sports reported that police confirmed a 37-year-old from Caroline Springs had been arrested and charged with a series of offences.

The former Hawthorn star was arrested on Wednesday and appeared in the Sunshine Magistrates Court yesterday.

He pleaded guilty to charges of causing a breach of the peace, damaging his ex-wife’s iPhone and committing an indictable offence while on bail on Tuesday night.

He pleaded guilty to property damage and assaulting his wife’s friend at the family home in Aintree, west of Melbourne, on February 17. He also pleaded guilty to stalking his ex-wife, whom he split from seven months ago.

Last year he told the Herald Sun about tough times after returning from Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders. In 2018 he also spent six nights behind bars after a drunken bar fight in Japan.

Lake will be assessed for a community corrections order and sentenced today.

Lake was a finalist on the 2018 reality season won by Shane Gould.
