Basil Brush to make comeback at Edinburgh Fringe

Legendary UK puppet will front his own chat show for festival goers in Scotland.

Legendary UK puppet Basil Brush is on the comeback trail, of sorts, set to appear at the upcoming Edinburgh Fringe.

The rascally fox, who first appeared in 1962 is performing his own chat show, promising to take on ‘everything from Love Island to Westminster’ alongside nightly guests.

A separate Family Fun Show will also take place in daytime shows.

Originally voiced and performed by Ivan Owen, Basil Brush had his own TV show from 1964 to 1984. A comeback in 2002 for a children’s BBC series for five years was voiced by Michael Winsor.
