Nine picks up Harry & Meghan baby doco

Meghan & Harry: Baby Fever special has interviews with royal watchers, experts and insiders.

Nine has picked up a new royal documentary being produced by UK-based ITN Productions.

Meghan & Harry: Baby Fever will chart the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relationship through courtship and marriage to the anticipated arrival of their first child. It includes interviews with royal watchers, experts and insiders and features footage from ITN Productions’ royal archive.

Meanwhile ITV has greenlit a BBC Studios-produced series about Prince Charles. “Inside the Duchy” (working title) will follow the Prince of Wales over two one-hour episodes to mark his 50th year as the holder of the title of Duke of Cornwall.

Cameras follow Charles in his capacity as a landlord, farmer, and custodian of the Duchy of Cornwall royal estate. In exclusive interviews, he explains how the Duchy is run to reflect his belief that economic development works best in harmony with the natural world and local communities.

An Australian broadcaster is yet to be announced (Seven or ABC the likely destination).

  1. What an extremely interesting documentary. I personally wouldn’t watch that rubbish and the daily royal update on Sunrise is equally as interesting. One thing is it will rate no matter how boring it is.
