Paul Murray Live visits Launceston

Daryl Braithwaite sang and $32,000 was raised for the local Launceston community last night on SKY News.

$32,000 was raised for the local Launceston community last night when Paul Murray Live: Our Town came to visit.

Daryl Braithwaite performed Horses and Executive Chairman of Harvey Norman, Gerry Harvey announced the total raised for the CWA Community.

Sony Music also donated $10,000 to help install facilities for their daughter who is suffering from Battens disease.

Paul Murray said: “This was the best Our Town yet. The vibe in the room was fabulous. Launceston got some big-name guests including Darryl Braithwaite, while Katie Page and Gerry Harvey showed everyone why they aren’t just the biggest names in business, but two of the most community minded people in the country.”

Paul Whittaker, SKY News Chief Executive said: “What an amazing effort made by the CWA and the local Harvey Norman store to raise critical funds for those affected by the recent bushfires as well provide improved healthcare and rehab facilities. We’re really proud to have been able to bring Paul Murray Live Our Town to Launceston.”
