Speers to track forum of swinging voters

Independently-selected undecided voters from the NSW seat of Reid to feature each week on SKY News.

SKY News’ Speers will track a group of independently-selected undecided voters from the NSW seat of Reid each week, as they discuss the issues ahead of the federal election.

Political Editor David Speers said: “If you’ve ever wondered how a focus group works, this will be a real insight. Real voters offering their unfiltered views on each week of the campaign.”

Independently selected by respected polling company YouGov Galaxy, the voters from the New South Wales seat of Reid will take part in a weekly focus group and form The Jury.

An important seat for the 2019 federal election, the division of Reid has been a bellwether seat for the past decade.

Each week during Speers, the focus group members will gather under the supervision of an expert and independent moderator to give their verdict on the election campaign and how the performance and actions of the leaders will affect their voting intentions.

Thursdays at 4pm on SKY News Live.

  1. Fairest? ? What he is good at is asking the questions in a manner that assumes no bias but listen very carefully to them…watch him especially with Paul Kelly(LNP loyalist) from the Australian. Cringe worthy

  2. David Speers is certainly the fairest political commentator on Sky in my opinion but with 25 days of this overly long campaign, (which seem to get longer every three years), most people it would appear have had enough of it already. Still, of the two hoping for the top job ‘Scomo’ definitely wins the prize for entertainment value; footy fanatic, beers with the boys, animated Pentecostalisat, fairdinkum bloke, etc. while boring Bill struggles with spending figures between jogging sessions. Don’t you just love our leaders!
