Switzerland cooks up Family Food Fight

Endemol Shine / Nine format has its latest adaptation of food reality series.

Australian format Family Food Fight has secured its latest adaptation with Switzerland to produce a 5 part series.

The series created by Endemol Shine Australia with Nine has previously sold to the US, Argentina, Mexico, Portugal and Denmark.

Lisa Perrin, CEO of Creative Networks at Endemol Shine Group says; “Family Food Fight is such a vibrant and joyful family series, both in front of the camera and for viewers at home, who can’t fail to be drawn in by the passion and enthusiasm of our cooks and the relationships between them. It’s been wonderful to witness the traditions and local dishes resulting from our other adaptations of the series and we can’t wait to see what our Swiss competitors have in store as the show finds it perfect home on SAT.1 Schweiz.”

Andrea Haemmerli, Managing Director of SAT.1 Switzerland adds, “Family Food Fight will be a highlight in our primetime slot. This fast paced and fun show is the ideal addition to our entertainment line-up and suits the key demographics of SAT.1 Switzerland perfectly.”

Nine is yet to confirm if a third season will screen this year.

“It hasn’t worked as well as we’d hoped,” Nine’s Head of Content, Production and Development, Adrian Swift, previously told TV Tonight, “We haven’t made a decision yet, but we’d have to be reviewing it. Let’s be serious.”

  1. They need to go back to what they did in the first series & have families of four & nicer contestants. Those nasty girls last year were horrible. If people want to watch that they’ll watch My Kitchen Rules. The reason we liked it was the contestants were nice.
