Travel Guides beats MKR in 7th ratings week

Ratings: New highs for Nine shows, as the network chalks up its 7th weekly win.

Thanks in part to its bumper lead-in, Travel Guides finished the week ahead of My Kitchen Rules, as Nine secured its 7th straight win. At 909,000 it was the biggest audience across 3 seasons.

Not to be outdone, Married at First Sight hit a new season high of 1.69m viewers. Its mammoth run ends next Monday.

While The Project‘s interview with NZ PM Jacinda Ardern went up to 574,000 on Monday the weekly average was only up by 10,000.

Nine led on Sunday – Wednesday. Seven won Thursday – Saturday.

Seven was victorious in Melbourne, Adelaide & Perth. Nine led in Sydney & Brisbane.

Nine: Married at First Sight (Sunday: 1.69m), Nine News (Sunday: 1.1m), Travel Guides (909,000) and 60 Minutes (767,000).

Seven: Seven News (Sun: 1.04m), My Kitchen Rules (Tues: 806,000), Seven’s Thursday AFL (635,000) and Home & Away (616,000).

ABC: ABC News (Sunday: 679,000), Vera (659,000), Hard Quiz (658,000) and 7:30 (607,000).

10: Gogglebox (585,000), Dancing with the Stars (Elimination: 465,000), The Project (7pm: 422,000) and Ambulance Australia (414,000).

SBS: Australia in Colour (308,000), Michael Mosley: Trust Me I’m a Doctor (195,000), Project Blue Book (194,000) and Great British Royal Ships (185,000).

There are two more weeks of ratings, including this week, before the Easter break.

  1. 7th straight win! Wow impressive by 9. Must say they’ve got variety with Lego Masters coming up aswell. Atleast they change it up, 7 looking stale and are lucky they have AFL to boost them. Hopefully 10 bid hard for the rights in 2022.
